Next week, I have the privilege of presenting a few sessions at the Silver Jubilee edition of the ABA Tech Show in Chicago (at the Chicago Hilton…right on the lake). Since I first got involved in legal technology, I’ve made it my business to attend the ABA tech show, first as a booth participant and of late, as a member of the faculty. If you are interested in technology for your practice, or if you are not necessarily interested, but know that you should be, next week in Chicago is the place to be.
And this year’s show will prove to be one of the most memorable as it is the 25th anniversary of “TECH SHOW”. I understand that there will be very special events as Tech Show celebrates its silver jubilee. There will be over one hundred CLE sessions with topics including e-Discovery, use of Macs and iPads in law firms, law firm management, document management, going paperless, trial techniques, your law firm in the ‘cloud’, social networking for law firms and so much more. There are also several well organized and interesting social and networking events. Lastly, the exhibit hall will be full of both seasoned and start up vendors that have products that are not only cutting edge, but promise to help lawyers practice law more efficiently and effectively.
Although my blog is only days before tech show begins (it starts Monday the 11th), if you haven’t made your plans to come to Chicago, you should seriously consider it. I promise you won’t regret it!
